The begining to join Yamagen
When I lived in Osaka, I was a housewife. After I came to Takaoka, I was encouraged to have part-time job from my grandmother. There was also a recommendation from a friend, I took an interview by Yamagen.
Five years after entering the company, the child became bigger, and at the same time our house was also built, and we made a loan. So I decided to be a full time employee.
Since I had never worked at manufacturing industry, everything was my first experience. I remember all my memorable work was enjoyable. My main work were tying up miso containers with rope and just making carton boxes. It was all how fast and beautiful to finish such work.
Yamagen has nice environment to manage working and raising children at the same time. When my children were small, my job time could be adjusted. When I got hospitalized, I got a day off for more than a month. I am grateful for the cooperation.
I am in charge of manufacturing planning and materials management.
In the manufacturing planning, thinking about the number of shipments and the appropriate stock, I consider “what will be made today and how much will it take” and instruct it. I am conscious of making the same things in one piece as efficiently as possible. By doing so, we can save time to prepare per item. So we can offer products at a more affordable price.
Materials management is an extension of the manufacturing plan. I place orders for materials based on the manufacturing plan. When we use up the materials as planned, I am glad that “OK!”
For the future
醸造業”Japanese Brewing industry” seems というと暗いイメージがありますが、若い人のアイディアを取り入れて、もっともっと明るいイメージの会社になれば良いと思います。
